For as Edgar Froese of Tangerine Dream had a passion to Dante's La Divina Commedia, I liked Virgil's Aeneid, and Ilias and Odyssee of Homerus.
Virgil's Aeneid is a story about Aeneas who travelled after the fall of Troy to Italy and became the founder of the city that would one day become Rome.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED.. music recording.
Hmm... someone needs a nappy change, or to be whipped by a homo erotic quireboy I think..
So funny.. people's points of view..
having said that YES IT IS A MUSIC RECORDING....
NO... it is not gonna be Slipknot or Rage Against because... it is meant to be reflective of Virgil's poetry.
I found the first piece.. haunting as if on a ship travelling back through time... IT'S ART... perhaps might have been enhanced by an opium pipe when listening...though I'm not suggesting you try!!
though personally I get it......
Now where the hell are them audio tapes... back to searching...KC

Glenn is right
I couldn't agree more with Glenn... However it should be noted that the internet is always misleading... and you should expect it especially when searching for free files. That beaing said... It sucks to be mislead, but i usually don't mind it. This shit... however... was so utterly retarded and pointless... it was less inspired by Virgil then by some sort of oozing ear vomit, sticky vaginal dischage or a puss filled cock wart that exploded all over the artists face while giving another brain dead man a blowjob. This is NOT music. It is piss, diluted with water, put into a nestea bottle and sold to an unsuspecting grandmother on a hot summer day. If I were you I would seriously consider fucking your dog... because this shit isn't going to get you any ass... or get you out of your parents basement. Good luck, asshole!

Fabulous and engrossing
Phrozenlight rarely disappoints. Virgil's Aeneid takes me on a journey on an infinite breeze, just for a while. And when I get back everything all seems so much easier. Absolutely engrossing.

Problem with Virgil's AENEID
"We have tried everything, and the problem seems to only be with this title. When we try to listen to what we thought was the text of Virgil's Aeneid, all we get is some strange sound...no voice is heard at all.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be?
Thanks!"

"Is this a text file or an audio file?
Could you post a link?"
Re: Problem with Virgil's AENEID
This is the page where all of the links are for this title:
http://www.archive.org/details/Phrozenlight_-_Virgils_Aeneid
Whether you click on one of the links for streaming audio or downloading, all we can get is that strange noise.

"'That strange noise' ... is it possible what you are hearing is 'electronic music'?
I think this is a series of electronic music compositions inspired by the Aeneid... rather than an 'audiobook' type recording of the text of Virgil's epic poem.
Too bad, I'd love to have a copy of the Aeneid (the poem).
The first part of this sounds to me like wind... is that what you are hearing?
As music, it's not entirely bad, but it would disappoint me if I were hoping to download Virgil's poem and got this 'strange noise', which description is not an unfair description of the first part at least of Phrozenlight's composition."
